Why we Bitcoin?
OpenSky is a place of stillness for the senses, a retreat for body and mind, set in deliberate contrast to the noise and rush of the airport just beyond our walls.
In that quiet moment of returning to yourself, we wanted to offer our guests the chance to engage with Bitcoin, casually and without pressure, if they wish. That's why we've curated a bookshelf featuring nothing but Bitcoin literature.
Soon, we hope to add a book of our own to that shelf, written to be simple to read, thorough, yet clear enough to make sense of a system that can otherwise feel complex from the outside.
It's also why we became the first full service spa in Germany, and quite possibly the first in the world, to accept Bitcoin as payment.

How to Book with Bitcoin
Right now, our booking system doesn't support Bitcoin payments directly, so booking with sats takes a small detour. It's a bit more manual, but it also means a little more connection with fellow Bitcoiners along the way. And honestly, there's something good hidden in every "bad" thing, just like with fiat: it makes no sense to save in it, which means you're naturally pushed toward saving in the most logical money in the world. Bitcoin.

2 We'll get back to you shortly to confirm availability.
3 Once confirmed, please settle the amount in sats within 24 hours to lock in your reservation.
